Not every parish fundraising effort requires a large-scale, multi-year capital campaign.

Many parishes face smaller but still important needs that exceed what can reasonably be covered through the regular offertory. Whether it is replacing HVAC equipment, updating parish hall furniture, improving lighting or audio systems, repairing facilities, or refreshing gathering spaces, these projects often require a focused fundraising effort with clear communication and a manageable timeline.

This resource page was created to help pastors and parish staff quickly launch a simple, professional special projects campaign using ready-made, customizable materials.

The campaign model is intentionally straightforward:

  • 12-month pledge period

  • Flexible fundraising goals

  • Easy-to-edit Canva templates

  • Minimal setup and administration

These materials can be adapted for a wide variety of parish projects and scaled based on the size and needs of your parish community.

Brochure

This customizable brochure template can be edited directly in Canva and is designed to help you clearly explain your parish project and campaign goals. Use the brochure to share project details, display photos or renderings, outline giving opportunities, and help make the campaign feel real and tangible for parishioners.

The brochure is formatted as an 11x17 trifold mailer that can also be self-mailed if desired. Once customized with your parish information, it can be professionally printed and distributed at Mass, mailed to parishioners, or used at campaign events and meetings.

The templates can be adapted for direct mail, email communication, leadership asks, or general parish-wide outreach.
