The parishes that see the greatest success in stewardship are the ones that tell their story well and confidently invite parishioners to support the mission they love.

When parishioners understand how their generosity sustains worship, ministries, outreach, faith formation, and the daily life of the parish, they are more likely to respond with gratitude and renewed commitment. Sharing the mission and boldly—but respectfully—asking for support truly makes a difference.

That's exactly what Faith Renewed - Mission Sustained is designed to do.

As we look ahead to the fall, now is the ideal time to begin planning your annual offertory efforts. Faith Renewed - Mission Sustained provides a simple framework that complements the stewardship work many parishes are already doing and offers resources to make implementation easier for your team.

Lead-Up Week: Preparing the Parish

The Lead-Up Week helps parishioners understand what is coming and why it matters. Through bulletin announcements, emails, and social media, the parish begins inviting people into a few weeks of reflection on mission, renewal, and gratitude.

This early communication creates awareness, builds participation, and helps set a positive tone for the entire program.

Weekend One: Mission

Mission Weekend focuses on parish life.

It is an opportunity to highlight the worship, ministries, outreach, service, and community that make your parish a place where faith comes alive. The message is simple: the mission of the parish happens because parishioners support it.

The Mission Reflection Card gives parishioners an opportunity to share where they see that mission at work, providing stories and examples that can be celebrated throughout the program and beyond.

Weekend Two: Renewal

Renewal Weekend invites parishioners to prayerfully consider their own commitment to the parish and how their offertory support sustains the ministries and experiences they value most.

It is a natural time to encourage renewed giving, promote recurring online gifts, and remind parishioners that faithful stewardship is an ongoing response to God's blessings. The focus is not on

obligation, but on gratitude, participation, and shared responsibility for the future of the parish.

Weekend Three: Gratitude

The final weekend brings the entire effort together through gratitude.

Parishes have the opportunity to thank parishioners for their generosity, service, and commitment while celebrating the many people and ministries that strengthen parish life. The Gratitude Card encourages parishioners to recognize those blessings and helps foster a culture of appreciation that extends well beyond the program itself.
