The Archdiocese of Baltimore is pleased to announce the promotion of Maribeth Harper to Director of Annual Appeal and Special Appeals. Since joining the Advancement Department nearly four years ago, Maribeth has demonstrated a deep commitment to advancing the Church's mission through strategic fundraising, donor engagement, and meaningful stewardship.

Prior to assuming her new role, Maribeth served as the Appeal Communications and Operations Manager, where she led the planning and execution of the Annual Appeal for Catholic Ministries' multichannel fundraising campaigns. She oversaw appeal communications, donor stewardship, operational strategy, and data-driven fundraising initiatives that helped strengthen engagement with parishioners and benefactors across the Archdiocese.

As Director, Maribeth oversees the Annual Appeal for Catholic Ministries as well as a variety of special appeals supporting Vocations, Retired Priests, and other vital ministries. She is passionate about connecting donors with opportunities to make a meaningful impact and believes every gift plays an important role in furthering the Church's mission.

Maribeth is grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the Archdiocese alongside pastors, parish leaders, volunteers, and generous benefactors to ensure these ministries continue to flourish. She considers it a privilege to share the stories of lives transformed through the generosity of the faithful and looks forward to building lasting relationships throughout the Archdiocese of Baltimore in support of its mission.
